Porfirio Waters is the CEO and a U.S. Licensed Customs Broker with over 27 years of executive leadership in multinational logistics. He holds key industry certifications, including IATA/FIATA and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) C-TPAT validation, providing high-level strategic direction for complex cross-border operations.
His career is rooted in automotive logistics, where he managed global supply chains for major manufacturers like General Motors, Chrysler, Ford, Nissan, Toyota, and Honda. He later served as Vice President for a large U.S. Customs Broker and Freight Forwarder. In this role, he oversaw warehouses, US-Mexico customs departments, and intermodal operations along the Texas southern border, all while ensuring strict ISO Quality System compliance.
Before his current role, Porfirio owned and operated a comprehensive logistics management firm. He successfully facilitated business expansions and relocations for companies from the US, Asia, Canada, and Europe into Mexico and North America. His hands-on expertise covers the full spectrum of international trade, from launching Maquiladora (IMMEX) operations and managing Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs) to navigating strict FDA, APHIS USDA, and U.S. Customs Commercial Rulings.
